Take a section of hair about 4cm wide

Spray hair with a light hairspray for extra hold if desired

Place the section of hair between the bottom plate and top barrels of the styler. For a natural look the styler should be positioned mid-way down the hair section

Clamp the styler shut and hold for about 5-8 seconds

Release the styler from the hair and gently slide down to the next section. Re-position the styler to overlap the last wave created, to ensure a continuous wave effect in the hair

Move down until you have completed the section and tuck tails into the barrel with a tail comb for a smooth finish

Repeat as necessary

Once all the hair has been styled, take random sections from the top layer and position the styler slightly higher up from the first wave created, this will create a natural looking style
